The Heart, they have to travel the train tunnels to make their way back up to Spire to complete their mission in the Hall of Ancestors. They need to sneak into the Hall and take some bodies back for spell components. Just because you're getting farther from the center doesn't mean it's going to be any easier...

Greg: Blackmane, Gnoll Heartsong-Called Cleaver: A former soldier who was a POW of the Spire. He fled into the Heart, and got hungry. The Heart has now changed him deeply, and he wants to stay. He can consume things to gain their power, and has... birthed? Excised? a baby homunculus / clone, Yellowmane.
