Red Markets, Black Death - Playtest 6

NOTE: While this is the 5th playtest recorded for the podcast, this is playtest 6. That is because playtest 5 is the one we recorded live at Origins 2019, which appeared on RPPR. If you haven't already, give it a listen here!

Ethan leads Greg, Ian, and friend of the podcast Brownie on another round of Red Markets, Black Death! A group of takers have to escort some horses to a coronation ceremony for King John. How hard can it be?

Brownie: Thorthur Ormson, an Icelandic gentleman who picked the wrong year to go on pilgrimage.

Greg: Mathias, a knight who fled a castle that was beset by the 'plauge', fleeing with only his horse, a random kid, and his best friend's squire.

Ian: Seelie, an outlaw hunter from Ireland who was exiled due to picking up the wrong bounty.

Laura: Stout - Sous Chef - Someone Has To Manage This Household. el Hefe's first husband and the one who wrangles the kids... and the husbands.

Ben: Quartzite - Butcher - Every Day Is A New Adventure. A battle hardened gargoyle, Quartzite is the devious muscle to this crew.

Chris:  Rhyolite - Chef de Cuisine - Guardian of Knowledge. A Gargoyle originally created to protect the Library of Culinary Knowledge, Rhyolite desired to learn as much as she could about cooking. Taking what she's learned, she, her husband, daughter, and friends have formed a fusion cuisine truck business, BC Stone Age Taco Cart & Delights, and are using the competition to bring glory to their business.

MonsterHearts2 - Jesus Freaks - Character Generation

Greg had an idea for a short(ish?) MonsterHearts campaign involving kids at a Christian high school. We took the opportunity to try out MonsterHearts 2! Join Greg as he leads Aaron, Ben, Ethan, Ian, Laura, and (for the occasional appearance in game) Adam through character generation.

WWW - Territories Part 4

Badlands Wrestling may be down an owner, but now has an opportunity. Cedric Tanner, the owner's son and now the current owner, wants to use this transition as an opportunity to build Badlands into something greater. He's hired some new wrestlers. He's scheduled a tournament pay-per-view. And, one way or another, someone is walking away tonight a champion. Will it be one of our three protagonists...?

Adam T - Reefer Sutherland, The Wasted - A washed up actor shifting to wrestling as a means of extending his career. Could stand to get clean instead, but, you know, bills.

Greg -  Ōzeki, The Shoot Fighter - A former sumo wrestler for the Japanese Sumo Association, he got as far as he could. Rather than bang against the ceiling, he opted to come to America to build a new career for himself in pro wrestling.

Noah - Baron Basarab, The Monster - A vampire. Just... just a vampire.
